Dealing with high stess/anxiety
What techniques, medicines, stress relieving activities do you guys use to help calm down in high stress work environments. I have been having trouble sleeping as I am have been stressed about a huge potential client I have been working with for almost a month. I'm sure everyone has had these problems before, so what has helped you in the past?

Exercise.

Meditation! It sounds like a completely typical answer but I owe my sanity to it.

Provigil... Need a prescription for it. Not gonna help you sleep but supposively helps you focus and think more clearly. It is what the movie limitless was based on. Here is a write up that I am sure was posted before.

I am not a doctor and not recommending this stuff to anyone just information. And please don't ask "where I can get this stuff?" because won't say. There are also other mental aids that act on the same premise but are classified as a supplement. Many people actually need this drug to cope with narcolepsy, the stress of "shift work" or other related stressors, but that is a conversation for you and your doctor. I will not get into any more detail but the research can be done pretty easily if you are so inclined.Last edited by Youngbp04; 10-04-2011 at 04:36 AM.
