Default App development on PC - possible?

    Hey guys,

Know there are some developers on here.

I have an idea for an app, and I would like to pursue it.

Done some research and it seems to be you can only do so with a Mac computer. Is there any way around this? I only have a PC laptop.

If you want to create an app for the apple appstore or mac appstore, where you're coding it yourself, you'll need a mac. No way around.

And if not, then yes. Absolutely.

90% of the developers at my work use PC's. Designers use Macs.

You can use Corona by Ansca Mobile on the PC to create apps for the iPhone. Not sure how robust it is for standard apps, but seems to be great for creating games. Most of what they showcase on the site are games.
