I'm trying to stay humble and let things play out, but deep down inside I'm sure as hell doing the happy dance.

So today, I was sitting on my ass, and a realized I should turn my spare time into spare money. And I thought of this thread. Since the leave raking season is coming to an end in Michigan, I am going to print out some flyers and put my self towards the top of the call list for snow at my moms work(local Community Senior Center) On my days of from my full time job(I work three 12 hour days) so that leaves me with four days off a week to have income potential, and possibly a few after work. And best off all my over head is low (a snow shovel doesn't cost much, and I can just toss it in my car.) If this works out for me, I could have my car paid off by spring, and that would be awesome.

I might have to take summer off from this, as I don't have a truck/trailer and my car is too small to fit a mower. But I have always wanted to have my own small business, and this could just be a start to it.

First snowfall of the season. Three inches on the ground is my trigger, so I went and plowed my route. Supposed to warm up a bit over the weekend so it will all melt. Just makes room for more snow.
