Becoming a distributor?
I've seen some of my friends become distributors for manufacturers. The most successful of which sold head units for VW/Audi's from a Japanese manufacturer.
Can anyone give me some advice/insight into what I'd specifically be doing and how I would go about becoming one.

buy quantity and most require buy ins. The more you buy the better the deal. Usually its not hundreds, its thousands or tens of thousands.

Like what other people said this required a ton of start up capital so do all your research before you pull the trigger. How are you going to ship/store your products, your avenues of selling them to customers. Also how you will field questions and trouble shooting

I am a distributor for a money fraud detection technology. I make a list of all of the franchises in every industry (food, auto, etc) and I reach out to them one by one. The item sells for $32.
