    Default How to sell ?

Well I think I might have overstepped my boundaries.

Basically just bought some stock, in the form of audio cd's. I spent £5000 and all of them are brand new, sealed, chart cd's worth more than £10 each on amazon. I have 12000. Thats £120 000! Minus amazon fees, and postage (£12k) is around £80k!

Obviously I wont sell them all on amazon so i am wondering where else to sell them, online ?

YOUNG MONEY - PAPER CHASERS > 3250 units

SNOOP DOGG - FO SHIZZLE MY NIZZLE > 1000 units

    2PAC - THUG REVOLUTION > 300 units

    T.I. - MUZIK KINGDOM > 1800 units

NOTORIOUS BIG - BROOKLYN BADBOY > 200 units

YOUNG JEEZY - CERTIFIED PLATINUM > 500 units

AKON - IN MY GHETTO > 900 units

    LUDACRIS - DOING UNITS > 750 units

RICK ROSS - THE BOSS IS BACK > 1800 units

    BUSTA RHYMES & JAYZ - NEW YORK SH*T > 300 units

    2PAC - THE WAY HE WANTED IT VOLUME 5 > 1200 units

    TOTAL UNITS: 12,000
    Any ideas ?

    Cheers!
And this here, is my fourty five...

I hate to say it man, but this sounds like a nightmare to move. Most people buy 1 or 2 songs on itunes.

To be quite honest, those are garbage as well :/ I think you would've been able to get rid easier if you had purchased some "classics", rather than the ones above. Did you choose them randomly or by price?

Subbed to see how quickly this flips. Bigger risk, bigger reward?

Im pretty sure people don't buy CD's anymore.

But I hope you prove me wrong.

Well it's a lot easier for most people to download a 3mb song than a 1-9gb movie file. And I think the majority of consumers still don't have a setup where they can easily watch downloaded videos on their TV sets, so many still prefer the convenience of DVD.

As the others have said, good luck, but you probably should have researched possible sales channels before dropping 5K on a gross of CDs. Let us know how it goes though, personally I'm always too cautious to try something like this.

But then again this is probably why I'm not rich. If someone tried to sell me 12000 CDs that are worth $120,000.00 for $5,000.00 my first reaction would be, if it's such a good deal why don't they just sell them individually themselves and make a lot more profit?
