^^ He's not out, technically. He just has profits from other transactions covering his investment in them right now. He still needs to shift them.
My advice to the OP - - - find someone else who'll take the lot off of your hands for what you paid, and call it a day. You're better off plowing those funds into something which will generate a positive return for you with less effort. When I'm not here, I'm slinging IT infrastructure or gone golfing

^Exactly, even if you have to take a small hit, its better to have to cash on hand so you can buy more iphones, cameras, etc. Just treat it as a learning experience

Im going to do that in January/February. They SHOULD sell at xmas, if they dont then they never will, and I should be able to sell them for the whole lot to someone for £12k ish so im not losing out by "risking" xmas.
I have about 5k left to invest currently and nowhere to get more stock from. I seriously need a proper accountant and need to get properly ltd registered with companies house.
Im going to try and approach mobile phone shops who buy used phones in trade ins and see what happens to their stock that they dont need and if i can buy it from them
And this here, is my fourty five...

Well, update time!
Sold 2000 of these just in December! For £3 each mainly, though on Playtrade i sold them for £8 each.
I also have a shop wanting to buy 1000 of them for £2k in the new year, which is ideal.
They are moving, but i am not sure I would buy them again. And this here, is my fourty five...

Moar update!
Shop messed me about, got me to take pics and everything to his spec then never heard from him again.
Listed 1000 assorted cd's on ebay and within 3 days (and notably today) they sold for £1800. Guy paid for them earlier, and is interested in more stock.
What does this teach me.....that risk is worth it if you have the finances to cover yourself and your business and dont have to depend on that risky asset to sell.
As a result all of the CD's are paid off now and am in the black in the total business area, no debt at all, i have a ton of books, electronics, and still have 9000 cd's left and they are all paid for in full. Quite happy now as you might imagine, as everything that sells now is pure profit.
Obviously now I can spend that profit on more stock without using a line of credit, so I am not exposing myself!
Lovely
*This isnt a **** you to all the people who said they were shit and wouldnt sell btw, I am glad for that advice, as it made me risk selling them in a different way. Risk = Reward, and I am definetly buying more, though I am considering cutting out the middleman this time as a bit of due dilligence in half a day revealed the source of the stock

And this here, is my fourty five...
