this guy is 100% on the mark. I spent a fair amount of time working on large yachts (100 ft+) and every owner was saying the exact same thing. they want some confidence in the future so they can continue to grow their businesses. right now the system is set up to punish producers and reward consumers and that is just not sustainable and you cannot argue with that. The way things are going in DC right now is forcing me to start looking for opportunities in foreign countries. its just drying up here.

Couldn't agree more. This administration is giving everyone a reason to pack up and head elsewhere. Romney or Perry better add 15% Corporate tax into their tax plan!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing the vid, very interesting. I know the host needs to move things along and is on a timeline, but the way he interupts Mr. Marcus numerous times is quite annoying. I would like to hear Mr. Marcus finish what he's saying before being cut off to talk about another part of the topic when he hasn't even completed his answer.

Im sorry but i think that whole lets not tax the rich, trickle down economics is complete and utter bullshit. Between the years of 1942-1952, America taxed the people making more than 250k 88-94% depending on what year it was...and thats when america saw a boom.

But i dont see how people who make that much can bitch soo freaking much. How do you expect the government to get anything done when your not willing to put any scratch in the game.

And please dont give me the bill o'reily fox news bs about people being lazy and if they worked hard they can get where you are too. Think about it, with less taxes the government is going to have less money to create programs that will stimulate the economy. And the guy in the video already said the banks arent lending, so where can us broke college students go to start a business when the banks arent lending and the government is cutting programs left and right.

i dont make anywhere near 250k but i would gladly welcome more tax if it means everyone will have a fair shot at life, and our fellow man wont have to resort to crime.

I can't emphasize enough how important CONFIDENCE in the economy is! My family runs a commercial contracting business, and many private projects are either up in the air or cancelled since people don't know what to expect anymore. If people knew, or at least had an idea of what was going on, things would be a lot smoother.

    Scenario 1:
Tax the rich more to pay for welfare, unemployment, etc.

    Scenario 2:
Tax the rich less, and the rich will make jobs, spend money, have more economic confidence, etc., so welfare, unemployment, etc. is needed less.

Have you ever seen a broke person create jobs?, neither have I. Biting the hand that feeds is probably the worst idea America could possibly have. If we keep punishing people for being successful our country will continue to fall into the abyss.

People that make "that much money" seem to "bitch" a lot about tax hikes because, chances are, they busted their ass to get in the positions they are in. It takes a whole lot more skill to become a millionaire than it does flipping burgers full time at Mc. Donalds.

Also, you think that people working hard doesn't create results? I am a college student that hasn't taken out a single loan because I created my own company and worked hard enough that I became Ad Head of another. Not because im in a higher tax bracket or had any outstanding circumstances that put me in this place.

This is America (if you haven't noticed), everyone has a fair chance. Some people have been gifted with rich parents or lotto tickets, but that does not mean everyone else is placed on a different playing field.

If you were as successful as you are bitter, im sure your point of view would be different.
    It's not enough to succeed.
    Others must fail.
    -Gore Vidal
