Thread: Google Company Meeting from 1999

Pretty cool video of a "All hands meeting" from 1999 when Google only had 60 employees who now are worth $100's of millions of dollars.......who would have thought back then.

It's a meeting of son to be lottery winners essentially! Very cool though!

I bet everyone in that video doesnt work anymore.

^seems to me that many who cash in on a venture just start another rather than retire..

I thought the interaction between Larry and Sergey was interesting. Most of them went on to become VC's and other start ups. Made millions at google and will make millions more from FB or any of the other popular start ups. Must be tough...

We have 2 members here that were a part of that team. They still work hard, one works hard as a partner in one of the most successful VCs in the valley the other works really hard at partying. I could go either way.

One of the women in the video is a close friend of the families and she is now a school teacher in MA loving life.
