What you think of this service
This past wednesday we had to present a business idea to our class that was relevant to the likes and interests of the students in the class.
One woman had an idea for a late night food delivery service which I would love to see in real life. College students pulling those all-nighters i know would like this as well.
* Food items would be from fast food joints.
* Customers would place orders through her website and pay with credit card. The cost would be: the price of the food, a 10% markup, and then 60 cents per mile.
* She would then call in the order if possible or pick it up at the drive thru.
* Deliver to customer
This would be great because if your trying to study, the last thing you want to do is stop once your "in the zone" , get dressed and drive several miles. If the weather is bad and/or you happen to be sick, that just makes it suck even more.
I would pay for this service, anyone else?...ideas?

I had this idea in college but then majority of the places at wvu deliver up to 4 am in the morning and all to dorms have multiple cafes and food places which open for breakfast at 7.
Also if you live downtown wvu will give you free food around 12 - 3am ish if you walk in to the lair.
Only place I think this would work is from mcdonalds and i think i am about to pu

seems like an ok idea, but I personally like taking the 30 min break from studying in those all nighters to take a "breather". Although, you would have to think beyond those all nighters since not many students resort to that prior midterms / finals. I do think it has potential, and with some serious thought you could make it work if you believe in it enough.

I like the idea, just last night we were trying to find someone to deliver us food other than JJ's, could have driven but everyone had had at least 1 beer and its not worth the risk. If this ends up around Cleveland I would love it.

If I'm studying, I need coffee, not food.
Don't argue with idiots...they will just bring you down to their level then beat you with experience!

Campus special. com already does something similar to that, you go to their site and then and its pretty much a big menu of all local (registered) restaurants and if they deliver and what not.
