    Default Legal Zoom...

Interesting concept. Anyone using them or think their documents are worth a damn? It goes back to... you get what you pay for. Just curious if anyone thinks their stuff will hold up in court as opposed to paying my current attorney $250 an hour.

isn't it just a repository of forms? you'll still need to fill and file them at courts i think.

depends which forms you're speaking of. a lot of their services are a lot cheaper--and just as good--as what an attorney will provide. what they can't provide is the advice that some situations require.

i'd use them again and again.

I think it also depends on what your liability is. If you'e concerned about getting sued for a few thousands dollars per deal, I'd go with Legal Zoom. Their basic contracts and entity formation forms are decent.

If you're talking multi-million dollar contracts, I'd fork over the cash to a _good_ attorney. Only problem is that it's hard to tell who is good until crap hits the fan.

their basic stuff is very solid - and that's the stuff your attorney would just delegate to a paralegal anyways
