I'm gonna be real shallow here:

It's not my only motivation, but stealing Miggy's car from him (or buying myself a similar one) is a motivation and goal of mine.

I'm not much of a convertible lover, but this one is nice!

A normal Tuesday in the books is what motivates me. Allow me to explain.

I had meetings this morning, each of which went quite well, I had some errands to run this afternoon, and I decided to pick up my son from school a little early and have him ride shotgun with me. (He's 3)

Lowe's, Dry Cleaners, Bank, Costco. He's jabbering the whole way though, and most anything with him is a very animated process with games, chatter, etc.. We're cruising along knocking things off the list. Whilst at Costco, checking out, I ask him if he wants to share a piece of pizza and a pop with me. 'Yes, please, Daddy' he says.

While sitting there (under the indoor umbrella table of course, because the tables without umbrellas aren't cool) he says with a mouth full of pizza "Daddy, thank you for bringing me to Costco for pizza"

We sat, finished our pizza, shared a pop, I explained the fineness of drinking out of a straw and not back-washing when you share a pop with 'ol daddy, and the finer points of warehouse merchandising and the importance of established business relationships.
He interrupts me with "Stop talking please, Daddy. I need to tell you I love you"

I love you too buddy. I love you too. Now stop back-washing in our pop.

The feeling of accomplishing a goal and pushing my limits to see what I am capable of. In the end I want to be proud of what I have done and not think about what I could've done.
