Andy - no worries. I'm shooting from the hip for the most part in regards to Samsung, but with enough persistence I'll locate the proper person.

Groove - not really a genius, just lucky.

It's glass that has a couple of thin plastic films applied to it. The films enable media to play (on the glass) with touch capability. Turn it off, and you can see through the window. Turn it on, and it looks like the Minority Report (or Iron Man). Same concept, but you just need your fingers. No gloves.

Actually, this is valuable input. I encourage anyone with pertinent applications or thoughts/ideas to shoot me a PM. The more the merrier. Even if you think it seems completely outlandish, it can help me with R&D for different markets and such.
Applications are truly endless. Museums, maps, handheld devices (although Samsung has this on lock), airports, sliding glass doors, entertainment venues, etc. Besides the "locations", think about the "applications". A mall directory that you can interact with. Something that's outside. Don't worry - it's all plastic encased. You can literally smack it with a hammer and nothing happens since there are no breakable particles in the film. Search YouTube for OLED demos where they bend and smash it... but it still works flawlessly.
Oh the possibilities.
