Definitely sounds good if you're in one/did one! FML. I'm in one.
I agree though, I have taken courses from all disciplines almost. Definitely has taught me how to learn and play catch up with people in those majors. I am now far more well rounded which I think transfers extremely well to the real world. Oh no - it is happening again. Your argument, though simple, was convincing enough that I think I am going to change my major, again. I am still churning through my community college transfer degree so it is not too late, but I was set on an Accountancy degree.
I wont need the degree to secure a job out of college. My aim is to equip myself with tools to give me an added edge in the real world. If that is my goal then I guess Economic principles (over Accounting) would seem like the way to go.
I should have never opened this thread...
