Good questions. What has he influenced?
B-Side & Fab Five Freddy, Cold Crush Brothers, Grandmaster Flash, Sugarhill Gang,
DJ Grand Wizard Theodore.. those were the guys who had a huge impact on Hip Hop.
I didn't compare DMX and Kanye both on their influences and I don't think both are nearly as valuable to Hip Hop as the foundation the above mentioned artists laid for that genre.
But as far as experimenting and getting Hip Hop to a whole new level, I don't see DMX anywhere near Kanye.

I dont think they look at just hip hop as the medium of influence...they are taking the whole popular culture into question.
I mean...kayne influnced a lot.
the whole white or other colored G-shock thing was him.
the shuttered sun glasses.
there are more but thats what comes to my mind right now.
but kayne does not hold a candle to pharell when it comes to influences on pop culture from the hip hop world.

^ Similar to what I was thinking. I think Pharrell should've taken his spot.
But as you already mentioned, this got way to OT. Sorry guys
I'm just going to get me some PopCorn, cool down and watch "The American". Just hope it doesn't suck :/

Looks more like a who's-who of the Hollywood liberal set. Nothing meaningful. Why not add that buffoon Al Gore while they're at it?
Stewart's 15 minutes are almost up.
