Thread: How Did You Start Out When You Were Young?

Paper route
Mowed lawns
Shoveled driveways and walks

Then carried golf bags from age 12 to 20

Bred & sold high-end ($1k-3k) ball pythons.
Got a tax ID and a few wholesale accounts to sell car & home audio online & to friends.
Now I detail cars when I'm in town from school, and in the process of deciding my next route.

I didnt k ow it at the time, My neighbor owned the FBO at the local airport. I asked to cut his grass for flying lesson money, I was 16, and he called me back and hired me to clean at his turbine aircraft maintenance facility around gulfstreams and king airs. Best first job ever. Here I am 18 still working there, but with my ppl. Want to be an entrepreneur too now

Kid - Lawn mowing when I was very young.
HS - In HS I would buy and sell car audio equipment. There would always be someone wanting to get rid of something quick and for cheap and I would buy up all I could, sit on it and then let it go when someone could finally cough up the money for what it was worth.
College - During my first year or two of college I was working at a movie/music/book store where I would hustle my employee discount and buy as many used DVD boxsets as possible then sell them on eBay. I would turn an easy 30 dollar profit on each sale. After that I got certified to test backflow preventers/RPZ valves and purchased a test kit. Every test would bank seventy five dollars and was ten minutes work.
Thereafter - Since then I have made some money on the side buying and selling cars and rebuilding motorcycles.
