I'm assuming the answer to my question(below) will benefit the people interested in this threads topic, so figured I'd throw this out there and get some opinions.
I'm curious about selling a business on Craigslist. For a physical business your local Craigslist makes sense and works I'm sure. But for an online type business where the location of the operator doesn't matter, would it be as effective? I know some people search nationally on CL, but I'd say a majority do not. Would you all think it's still worth posting it on CL considering a probable sale may not be in your local region? You may guess I am looking into this myself, and you'd be right..Last edited by HPP; 09-03-2010 at 04:42 AM.

I see you're in NYC? I'll be up there doing a big production for Fashion Week from Sept 11-16. I started my first business at age 14 (I'm now 27), and I wouldn't mind chatting with you over a scotch and cigar. There's so much to learn, and nothing any of us can tell you here in one sitting would cover 1/18 of it, but it's a start. Look at the past webinars and take notes. You learn by doing; however, being prepared as much as possible only helps.
Shoot me a PM and exchange cell #'s if you want to chat when I'm in the city. There will be a crap ton of L4P'ers there as well, so you'll be in good company.
