The Official L4P Business Webinar Thread
Here is the Official L4P Business Webinar Thread!
As a service to the L4P Business Community I have been organizing a live business webinar once a month to discuss topics voted on by the member of our Business Forum.
Typically the last week of the month there will be a poll posted with the top 10 topic suggestions taken from the Forum members. The poll lasts one week and the top 2-3 topics will be selected depending on the schedule that month. The Forum member that selected that topic or a volunteer will do some research and put together a 5-10 minute presentation about the topic using any type of presentation software he or she has available. Some have been as simple as a Word document and some put together elaborate PowerPoint presentations.
The Webinar is typically scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of the Month at 7:00 Central time. The webinar is typically broken into 3 ten minute presentations with a 20 minute discussion period following each presentation. During the discussion period the presenter will field questions from the audience and then each of the panelists will take turns commenting on the presentation as well. After the 3rd discussion period we will have an open Q&A session where anyone from the audience can pose a question to the audience and the presenters.
To cover the costs of the webinar software subscription we have been fortunate to have business members of the forum sign on for sponsorship. L4P management sponsors goodie bags for our presenters and Revved Automotive Concepts volunteers the time to put it all together. Sponsors or private individuals that are interested in sponsoring a webinar session may contact me directly by PM.
I just want to end this sticky by saying this is YOUR Business Forum, and YOUR Business Webinar done for YOUR educational benefit. Education and Business go hand in hand- the more active you are, the more you learn, the more successful your business, the more you give back to your community, the more true success you achieve. Live, Business, and Education are not spectator sports- the more you get involved the more rewarding it is.

For those young (or old
) entrepreneurs out there - this is a seriously advantageous opportunity you're being given. Sean has put a lot of time, effort, and knowledge into developing and sustaining this great webinar.
The presenters and sponsors have put time and money into helping you gain knowledge and understanding on the different aspects of business. Like Sean said - it is what you put into it. If you sit around and don't participate, you're not going to get 100% of the return.

OK guys its that time again!!! September Webinar!!!
We are going to attempt a new approach to the webinars but it requires even more participation from the forum members.
Its been suggested that we rely on our senior members with real world experience to volunteer to put on the presentations for the benefit of our other forum members and I think this is a great idea but we need the participation of our experienced members. We've had several step up in the last few months we've been holding these webinars and the response has been fantastic.
Please contact me through PM or email if you would like to volunteer for a presentation of your choice regarding you area of expertise, you business related hobby, or your profession. The webinar for this month will be on Thursday September 23rd at 7:00 pm Central time. I would like to have at least 2 volunteers by the end of next week so that we can plan accordingly.
Let's show the rest of L4P why this business section is Money.Last edited by Sean1; 09-07-2010 at 04:44 PM.
