Go Getter, I think you're about as wide of the mark as it's possible to be!

If this place was about ego and bragging then those of us who don't have the prerequisite bank balance and toys would not be made to feel as welcome as we are.

Do Driven, who has been here only slightly longer than you, seems to have it sussed.

I love the idea of this, hopefully ill be able to be in this group in about 5 years

Wow... I don't even know how exactly to respond to that one except that is about as far from the spirit of L4P as possible and really is an ignorant statement from someone that I would assume has never met anyone from the core group of L4P. Go Getter, I would suggest taking some time to read more from the long term members of L4P and ignore some of the flash and bravado that is typically posted by people with less tenure. Spend some time contributing to L4P or attending some of the events that occur all over the country and you'll find that it is less about what you have and more about who you are.

I'm in my private converted 737 flying to California for an In and Out burger and I just read where someone thinks this website is about flaunting wealth and money. I am offended. When I post pics of my weekend on the yacht or my trip to my private island I am merely SHARING my life. Not flaunting the things I have or the 25 Lamborghinis in my parking deck at my house. If I wanted to flaunt I would show the pictures of my gold plated Veyron... again. I am going to let my personal assistant stop typing this now so she can go get me another green tea made from real tea plants that are grown on this plane. Tah Tah!!!
