Default Where to look for freelance writers?

I was recommended to contact someone and never got a response from them so now I'm asking L4p. I am looking for someone to write articles for a blog I own, any ideas?

Whatever you do, do not post an ad on Craigslist.

I have had content written by many people, ranging from "day office workers" to English school teachers... If you need a reference, I have a few.

The site deals with horse racing. If you have anyone with knowledge in that area, let me know. Thanks

A friend of mine does freelance work. He used to write and did pictures for Drag Sport which is now DSPORT. Not sure if he knows about horse racing, but maybe he can help?!?

if you would like his contact info, please send me a PM.

Did he mention the blog was about horse racing? Or am I simple not able to find that part.
Other than that, I could contact some on SmallWorld, not quite sure if you already tried that.
