    I have been using GoDaddy for several years and have always been super impressed with their customer service. A couple of times I messed up some coding on my site, and they spent a serious amount of time helping me figure it out.
    They have never stolen a domain, but I am careful to keep everything up to date.
    You should always use register.com for checking domain availability.

    I use hostgator, they are great and I've never had a problem. Their control panel is fast unlike Godaddy's which is slow as shit. I buy my domains off of godaddy because they are always having discounts!

    JustHost. Unlimited bandwidth/storage. 100 e-mail accounts. 5 other slots to add domains. Online store (e-store) support. I pay like $60/year for it. I used to use xehosting, but JustHost is astonishing!
