MBA's- Still worth something or not?
I've been debating between law school or an MBA (the latter of which would require some solid WE) I've read that MBA's aren't worth much anymore unless they are from T10 schools (Northwestern, Penn, Chicago) I also want to have the best career prospects possible and be solid financially. Anybody care to chime in on what the best option may be?

Apples and Oranges. Obviously the law degree is the superior degree.

I am in the same position as you right now..
Just finished my undergrad & contemplating an MBA.
The response I've been getting is that the networking is worth more than the education.
It is also valuable if you are looking to move up in your field.
Does not do much good otherwise.

Between that and law, I'd go law. You can work for yourself and do pretty damn well. In terms of business, yes I'd say an MBA is a benefit in this economy. I'm a CEO and I pay more for MBA's and like the fact that they are already spun up on theory, all we need to do is give them the real world facts to go with it.

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies, I do realize that they are quite the opposite degree (one reason why I've also considered a dual degree) Law is still my first choice as of now, and will most likely remain so depending on how well I do on the LSAT

Don't get an MBA unless your employer is paying for it.

the key to life is actually using the talents and abilities available to you in the best possible way. (not just trying to meet people and using them to rise in status.)
considering law and mba seem to be the 2 most popular degrees available, I suggest you read my first sentence and go into the one that you can bring the most to in being both innovative and creative to then get as far as possible and naturally rise to the top.
