    Default Google and China??

Curious how you guys feel about this?? i think it will be a good chance to get the stock at a discount

i give them props for telling China to go F themselves. it looks like they might be leaving there. Microsoft in my op has no sac at all and after the speach from there CEO i lost a bit of respect for them. Googles is draggin on the floor lol

bc of that i think the stock could go back under 500 which in my op would be a great time to get in it

    thoughts??

Considering the stock is at 565.xx, I think you mean under 500?

I never give out stock advice, but here are some facts.

Google Chinese revenue before the "go f*ck yourself" thing really wasn't all that huge. Baidu has been kicking Googles ass in China.

The potential for massive Chinese revenue is there. In China 22.5% of the population is on the internet. 1.3B people are in China so a little shy of 300M eyeballs to look at Adwords. Considering the US as a whole has 300M people the potential for growth in China is definitely there.

I didn't understand and was angry for awhile when Google started censoring Chinese search results. Doing the math I now know why. Take out "f*ck the government" results in exchange for showing ads like "New Car Reviews" and "Best Refrigerator" to 300M people seem like a good deal.

A bunch of gas powered italian, german, japanese, and american things with four wheels. On order is a bunch of the same, and previously I had a bunch of the same. Oh and I fly, tool around on boats, and have been known to ride motorcycles.

man i never understood the Chinese factor until now. never gave it that much thought at all until now, i have a lot to learn/read. this is a very interesting thread. it should really be, google vs bidu since those are the two involved in the war, the battleground is china.

i can see how google's resistance to Chinese policy will negatively affect stockholders confidence on the stock tho.

The government in China helps its own companies. Through regulation and forced chinese joint ventures, illegal hacking and stealing intellectual property, the Chinese Government is creating a hostile environment for western companies.

They were making Yahoo! at one point, allow them to monitor the e-mail of their citizens for any dissent
"We were never satisfied being status quo. We were never OK just getting by. We pushed and drove at everything we have done in our lives to succeed in spite of those around us that would hold us back and naysay us. We finally realized that we needed to make our own rules to do things better. 99% of the people in this world do not understand us and what drives us.
