green technology. Mark my words in 5 years when you look back.

Get ready for that bust right now. If I had the money I would buy stock in powerplant company and solar energy like Akeena and what not. I pretict his bust to hit in 6-7 years

I mildly agree with this... The problem here is choosing the right company to invest in, probably 75% of green companies will fail, IMO

Cell phone companies have to be the most profitable companies right now. Everyone has one and we all pay out the ass.

I'd say it's higher percentage than that.

I would say watch hard assets. Assets that are tied to inflation. With the spending that is going on, and that will continue through this administration, we are going to see a lot of it.

It's a stretch to say "REAL ESTATE" as a whole has gone bust. I broker distressed commercial assets and defaulted bank notes; we've seen nothing of the upcoming COMMERCIAL real estate bust - a lot of paper comes due in 2010-2012 and properties are still underwater - I have clients with very large portfolios walking away from select properties when the balloon comes due.
