USPS Shipping Label Software/Company Suggestions
I'm looking for a company, product, service to be able to allow me to print USPS labels at home rather than having to stand in line forever at the post office (where I fear for my life sometimes.)
The one requirement is that it must be compatible with a MAC, I'd also like the printer to be small enough to take on the road if need be.
Does anyone have any experience w/ the online services? Are certain things worth paying extra for, or not paying for?
The two I'm looking at are:
- USPS Click-N-Ship (https://sss-web.usps.com/cns/landing.do)
- Endicia (Print Internet Postage for Mail & Packages on PC or Mac | Endicia)-Mike-

L4P uses the Dymo Twin turbo tied to endicia. Works great doesn't require ink, and there is no extra postage fees (aside from the cost of the stamps/labels).

If you go with the dymo, endicia doesn't charge you anything.
More info hereQ: What is the difference between DYMO StampsŪ and other internet postage products offered by Endicia and Stamps.com?
A: DYMO StampsŪ is a "no-monthly-fee" service that enables you to print postage for envelopes, small packages, Priority MailŪ, Express MailŪ, International Air Mail (1oz), and postcards. The internet postage services from Endicia and Stamps.com offer additional features such as insurance and tracking, in return for the monthly fee they charge. If you need the extra features offered by Stamps.com or Endicia, you should know that both companies support LabelWriter printers and we endorse them both.

Doesn't quickbooks allow for this?
"We were never satisfied being status quo. We were never OK just getting by. We pushed and drove at everything we have done in our lives to succeed in spite of those around us that would hold us back and naysay us. We finally realized that we needed to make our own rules to do things better. 99% of the people in this world do not understand us and what drives us.

I do everything through Endicia with a Zebra LP2844 thermal printer. There is a monthly fee to use them, and the software isn't the greatest in the world...but once you figure it out and setup all of your labels, it's fantastic. I can do everything from priority to express, domestic and international, to regular first class on an envelope. We even print our logo on our shipping labels.

this may not be of any help, but anything I ship via USPS, I use my paypal account and use the usps multi-shipping link... its free and they pick it up straight from my house... or if your on the road, you can print the postage and then run to the local post office and just drop it off... for me its been nothing but very simple and problem free.... printing 10 labels at a time through the multi-shipping link is very easy and stress free.... and free

Just make sure what ever you use they update prices. A few companies I ordered from did not account for the price increase that started Jan 01 10. Had to leave .30-.60 cents in the mail box for each package.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.
