Thread: L4P Business Web discussion?

As I was reading my weekly Gitomer email here at 1:08am Texas time (while sitting in LA at 11:08) I got an Idea...

We spend a lot of time on here talking about business topics that drag on for days... weeks... etc. Sometimes there is good info... sometimes good topics languish and die without being explored because they loose momentum.

What if we scheduled a night to have an L4P business discussion on some type of chat room format? We would have a structured discussion- perhaps a 1 hour conference with 10 minutes per topic. Topics would be submitted to a designated moderator before hand and voted on by the general consensus on the top discussion items. Moderator keeps things moving along and keeps discussion inline. Perhaps if it goes well we could make it a monthly event.

Ideas? Interest? Another loony Revved Idea?

Love it. I have a cool chat program I added on to my site, and it works pretty well for what it is. There is a private IM option, ability to make private rooms, etc. Like I said it's nothing special, but it does the job. Could be something cool to add to L4P, but obviously the decision would be in the hands of the bosses.

If we all can't meet and chat in person, a chat program would be the next best thing I guess.

great idea. on another forum the guys use Skype...not sure how thatll work out with a ton of people talking but im interested. maybe just setup a simple chat room of some sorts.
