:: The Business Owner Thread ::
In order to benefit L4P's members and give everyone and opportunity to make contacts in a variety of industries I thought it'd be beneficial to start a thread so everyone can post in here.
I myself do web design at the moment and working on several projects that are in the process of being setup, although momentarily have been paused due to my motorcycle accident.
So what does everyone do?
[It should be obvious but, lets try to keep this on topic]

Well why not be the first...guess it's not a bad second into

I am the founder/partner of a specialty consumer drinks company that will be going to market within a month with our first product. My responsibilities for the company revolve around marketing and sales and all the functions related within. This is a start-up so things are very exciting because we are obviously going up against some major players in this market. We feel as though we have a superior product at a great price point and in a format that is still new and unique to the market.
If you have any questions feel free to inquire!-Mike-

Family owned Electrical Contracting business here in SoCal. We handle only industrial and commercial buildings, no residential for us. My Father started the business, and I am next in line to take over the reigns.
As a side hobby/business, I am partners with a good friend of mine in an action sports video production business. We handle mostly off road motorsports right now, but one day I'd like to expand if I have the time.
PS: I'm in the process of looking for someone to build a website for us, and also someone who can do some logo modifications. If you're in the business or capable of doing either or, shoot me a pm, I'd love to hear from you.

I love these threads....
I own/operate my family insurance agency outside of Philadelphia, PA. It was started by my father 31 years ago, but our book of clients reaches back to my Great Grandfather who was one of the first "insurance agents" in the state who insured other farmers in our county. So technically i am the 4th generation spanning a little over 100 years.
We now focus on Western Chester County, PA (rapidly growing area) and our niche is higher-end clients with homes from $500k to $2 Million & multiple cars, boats, toys, etc.
If you want to learn more, visit my website (created it 2 years ago for my Dad as a Christmas present - he always dreamed his business would one day have a website!) www.wrightagencyinsurance.com
Best of luck to all you other business owners

I've been doing Technology consulting for small businesses since 2000. Lately I've been focusing on web design with a lean towards flash. I also cut tons of custom vinyl for cars, businesses, etc. This was an off-shoot business out of necessity from a really fun car event that I run.
