People want things for free, and or buy and never pay. When you get lucky and they do pay, 3 weeks after they get the item, they start a claim and want the money back, and your out shipping and get an item returned that you sold new. It's turned into a game of headache. eBay knows sales are down, and wants customer so 100% of the risk is on the seller. I'm a one man show, and it takes me a long time to write description, picture and put each item in. The best I can do is 5-7 items per day to list and when the customer buys it, is in the gods hand.

You need to move to Amazon. Totally different customer demographic. Ebay buyers are cheap bargain hunters while amazon's are more affluent. I never sold on amazon buy i buy a lot and I never contacted the seller over anything...ever. Or maybe I'm just an awesome customer

Amazon has a similar seller/buyer protection mentality as eBay accept Amazon is more strict. Amazon will ban you forever if you screw up. I had my account banned because someone wasn't happy that a case I included with an iPad FOR FREE was worn on the edges and "didn't fit right." I told them since I was the cheapest iPad for sale on Amazon along with the fact the case was thrown in for free I couldn't do anything about it. This was when I first started selling and looking back, I should have just refunded the case or something because now I can't sell on Amazon at all.

Yeah I hear Amazon doesn't take too lightly to cases. I have over 500 units listed, which has taken me months. To re-do all of these listings on Amazon would be a hassle. But to wake up one day to see that my account is gone, would be super painful. Also Amazon's fees are so high and with margin so low as is, I can't work for 20cent even if I were to sell big volume.

Amazon is great if you take advantage of Fulfillment by Amazon. It will essentially take care of the shipping processing and handling

This can definitely be a great way to go. You just have to get your product to a point where it makes sense, not something for everything though.

500 different units? Did you list different AliBaba items? Or what exactly do you have listed at the moment?

Somehow I get the impression, that you are on the wrong path.
To me it seems that: margin sucks, price competition sucks, offering a good service also sucks because of the margin
Unless something is going to improve significantly, I would asume it is worth to try something different.

Perhaps you can give another short resumé. Furthermore I think you already learned some very good lesons.
And of course, you have to make mistakes and learn

Why dont you build your own billion dollar market with the use of pressure-sensitive adhesive?

AliBaba is 1% of my total sales. See my other thread, where I initially started selling on eBay. This AliBaba is new to me, and I don't count on its source of profit or income.

I don't think anyone has mentioned terapeak analytical software. I had it for a limited time and it was mostly positive but some categories had no data on the and I found that rather annoying.
