Default Dad takes son's candy. Son revolts. Starts 10 million dollar + candy company

How much capital did it take to start a major food company?

Michael: Our mentality was if were going to fulfill this crazy, grand mission to unjunk the world, we knew we had to do this right. We couldn't go into a small set of health food stores. We want to shift popular belief, which means going right to the mass market. It cost tens of millions to start. This is not a low-cost, low-capital business.

I don't get why they compare fruits to their candies..

i'm looking at their peanut butter cup and theyre comparing it to the Reese's brand..but also a 1/2 medium grapefruit?
They don't taste the same, why compare?

The kid is probably the one "in charge " so its amazing that investors would give him anywhere near that amount.

Is very easy to understand why.

I believe is the same way Hyundai compare their cars to Honda/Toyota to prove they are better.

They compare the ingredients and are trying to prove they are not only better then the competitors but also has more protein and fiber then a regular fruit.

About the taste I need to try. But they showed on the promotional video that tastes better.

The video is amazing. I'm surprised I never seen before. For sure they are from a wealthy and well connected family to put all this together in a such short period of time.

    I wanna try!

Probably not. The truth is probably closer to the kid being the puppet (no meant in a negative way) for the company.

They scored promotional videos from personal friends Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen, John Legend and Matt Damon. Yeah these people were clearly well connected and rich as hell to begin with, and I doubt the kid did jack shit altogether. Just a nice face to put on articles like these.

    Well good for them though.
