Default Quickest Way To Get A Diploma?

Hey guys this is a weird one. I'm posting this in the Business Section so hopefully i can get more constructive answers instead of Offtopic.

As some of you know i've been working as a creative director at an ad agency here - i acquired the skill of graphic design at an early age purely out of interest and i don't officially hold any qualifications in that field but my work speaks for itself and thus I've managed to do well for myself over the years.

However this country that i live in has some weird ass laws and now all of a sudden, if I don't hold even a basic qualification for the field I'm working in, i'll get a lot of grief from the government.

So i ask you this, is there a good institute Online that you guys would recommend i can get a Diploma in Graphic Design (or similar) from that ideally doesn't take that long? And I'm talking about a proper diploma that is recognized in the US (or wherever the institute might be), not some dodgy ass ones

    Thanks guys

Do you need an Associates or a Bachelors? Also, be careful about online degrees here in the U.S. or anywhere for that matter. As the education bubble is growing businesses seem to be trying to cash in on every person going after a degree left and right. If all you need is an associates it shouldn't take you longer than two years and I would think you could accomplish it completely online from a community college.
Little different situation for a bachelors degree.

Man frankly even a high-school diploma would suffice in my situation. And 2 years is way too long

We have a thing here in the states called a G.E.D. Maybe you have something similar? As far as I know in the states all it is is a test you complete that certifies you as having completed basic education.

he is reffering to a college diploma, not HS one. You can get certified in certain fields and receive a "diploma" or "certificate" that takes only a few months to get (based on the subject) and is nearly as valuable as an associate's degree minus the bs basic studies courses. You make less but employers like that you are qualified in a specific skill which diplomas and certificates show. This is mainly true in European countries though. Degrees give more broad interests

+1 That is actually what im referring to!

Its just a formality that i need to do to satisfy new government laws here, hence the hurry im in, if it can be done in a few months it'd be ideal. Would love to get some leads on this off you guys.

    Look through the schools here:

Online Programs and Degrees | Online Education Rankings | Online Bachelors Degree | US News & World Report

I would suggest getting in touch either by phone or e-mail with the schools you're interested in and explaining your situation with an admissions adviser so you can see what the fastest way to get your diplomma is.

It's a shitty situation to be in and I wish you luck. Good news is, this might be a bit of a blessing in disguise, because just having a degree might open up some more doors for you. And since your work doesn't really require you to be regionally based anywhere (i.e. I'm assuming you do most of your work on a computer and can be located remotely), you might happen upon some great opportunities.

I have a bachelors... and it's worthless. I graduated in 2004 and never used it. It's even worse for graduates now...

Listen to Elan Musk and Peter Thiel... They agree that a degree is almost useless these days.

Move back to the states, save a little money, and open your own agency. The low cost of technology, relative ease of industry entry, and amount of free or monthly subscription software lets anyone be a competitor with the big boys. Welcome to the new economy and the new America.

Steve Jobs said it best. Don't go to college until you know what you really want to do. Get a job, work it until you decide what you want to really do.
