What to do with 200k ?
So lets pretend I have suddenly come across $200K
I'm a student, I would not have any type of experience in a situation like this. I would not know what to do with it. What would be a good thing to do? Obviously speak to a financial advisor of some sort, but from where? Chase? BoA? How do you know who to trust? For someone who doesn't have or never has seen this amount of money, there would be a lot of questions... a lot of unknown stuff to deal with.
Of course the money would be legit and not illegal or anything...

Most wealth management firms won't be clamoring to help you at $200K. First, open a brokerage account at Merrill, Schwab, TD Ameritrade, etc.
