Default Putting an Ebook on the Android Market?

I own an ebook, and to help promote my site I want to give my ebook away for free. I was looking under the "books" section and there is no ebook section.

    Has anyone done this before?

I cant find anything on the internet and cant tell if this is even possible to do so I thought I would ask you guys! Can I make it into an app, and put it on the app store?

You can create a pdf of your book and make it available for download on your site/other websites. Does that work for you?

I have seen others create apps for their e-books but they turn them into full blow online magazines with monthly issues. Also, if you do convert your ebook to PDF, make sure it is full text so that users can search and click on the links back to your money site.

Are there any ebook directories I can submit it to?

I wanted to try and capture the google play market though. Just with an ebook.

Make a kindle edition and make it free? I think you can do that at least.
