Thread: App Ownership Advice

I'm seriously considering going after a couple of apps that I've come across that are for sale. I just wanted to get some tips from those here that are app owners.

The apps I'm looking at have a free version that is supported by ads and also a paid upgrade version.

One is iOS the other Android. Basically, what are some things to look out for, some things I should know or learn before getting into this. I'm not code savvy, but can figure it out if need be. I'd ultimately look at outsourcing any fixes or changes. What avenues are available for advertising and promoting the app in the stores or is it luck?

I am familiar with online marketing, and more specifically ecommerce. L4P discounts if my plans work out.

You can't make L4P specific discounts in the Apple App Store. It's either free (via promo code if a paid app) or paid.
