You responded to my app thread on another forum so I'll respond. I don't have much advice to offer. I think an LLC would suffice but I'm not an expert in the matter. As mentioned above I'd focus on building/launching/marketing prior to worrying about setting up a company. That can always come later if necessary

Whatever you do, don't do a sole proprietorship. It's the worst and holds you personally accountable if shit hits the fan. At the very least start an LLC. It costs a $100 and will separate YOU from your BUSINESS. Explaining every benefit of an LLC is out of the scope of this thread so I'll be brief. If something goes wrong and you get sued, they can go after your business's assets but not your personal assets. In you come up with 3 apps, get 3 LLCs. That way if app A causes some disaster, App B and App C will be left alone.
