Best place to network with execs etc.
I'm looking to expand my business network, and I'm wondering what are some of the best places to network with executives, entrepreneurs and such. As in the real world, not online. I'm located in the tri-state area and want to get my name out there.
I'm not looking for any industry specifically, but Financial would be my main interest. I don't want to impose business plans or anything like that, I just want to get out there and talk to some people and expand my horizons. Tips would be really appreciated.
I know trade shows are great, but are there other places, not so obvious ones?
Even if anyone on this forum wants to give a young newcomer some tips and time for their questions it would mean whole world to me.Last edited by KingNikan; 04-20-2012 at 12:48 AM.

Join a Chamber of Commerce. They're always having networking events.
