Selling my track BEAST :: E30 Content ::
So, this car has never been tracked. Sad isn't it? I built it as my daily driver, and I had plans to track the crap out of it. Times have changed and I need to get the car SOLD and out of my hands. Car has probably 150,000 + on the bottom end and 10,000 on the top end, all new cooling and brand new o2 sensor plus new plugs as of 11-7-11.
Engine: M20

Gutted interior (Sound deadening, rear seat delete, no AC/heater core.
Custom built half cage with rear strut brace support
Sparco steering wheel
2 Sparco Evo seats ( driver side is Evo 2 )
Sliders on driver side
Brand new shift knob and boot
Electronic Sunroof ( works )
Kenwood headunit
4 brand new kenwood speakers mids and highs
AC rep pedals
Windshield tinted banner
The bad.
1 broken exhaust bracket
Needs a tune, runs a little rough. Due to cams the car idles low making the intake manifold hit the front strut bar making a "clunking" noise. Can be fixed with a tune
Hard to get used to driving with the 272 cam
Needs to warm up in the mornings or after it sits for a long time, it will spudder for the first 5-10 minutes, but after it gets a little warm it runs perfect.
Paint is bad, bought the car with a maaco paint job and it just wasn't properly painted.
Front driver side blinker lens and bumper trim is cracked/broken
Dent on driver side door, rear underneath license plate and driver side door
Rear right wheel has curb rash
Steering wheel was once suede, but it has faded over time
Random paint chips all over the body
Front springs were cut an half inch to sit lower, makes a clicking noise when you turn wheel all the way
Needs alignment
Needs a new high beam bulb on driver side
The good.
It handles like a dream, you can rip corners and never feel like the rear end will come out
The 3.73 LSD feels awesome, much better response compared to the stock ETA gearing
With a nice wash/wax the paint really shines, wheels are in great condition and the car sounds amazing with the exhaust. Nice deep tone!
Passes smog, just had it done about 10 months ago
Seats are great, mounted properly and have a nice snug fit
Roll cage stiffened up the car along with the front strut bar, made a huge difference.
Car is very very light
Runs super cold, never gets to the middle of the gauge in temp
Pulls hard in 5th gear
Lots of rubber left on the wheels
Summary
Of the 3 years of owning this car, it's at the perfect state right now. Everything seems to running great and it's a really fun to car to drive daily. I just need to step into something different and I'm ready for a change. After all the parts and labor costs plus receipts it rounded up to about $19,000 dollars. When I bought the car it was pretty beat up, now it's ready for somebody else to take on and make into either a killer daily driver or a fun track toy. It may need a few small tweaks here and there but it's definitely ready to go. I'm asking $7,999 for the car, and I can do OBO. I can take out the seats/sound system etc to bring the price down.
