Some at home paint work!
Finally decided to do some painting after thinking about this for some time.
Up next is the b&w roundels & painted reflectors. Matte Black VMR V710's coming on at the end of the month, with a drop after the winter.
Good progress for today, just a few touchups behind the mirrors tomorrow.

I like the look. Mind if I ask what kind of paint you used and what was the prep on the window trim?

Thanks!
I used valspar latex based flat black paint, and for the grills and splitters just regular plastidip. All I did was clean the trim, and use 600 grit sandpaper and sanded it. 3 coats of paint was applied. The most important parts were taping the outside correctly, and also peeling the tape off so the paint doesn't chip. Under the mirror was also a pain in the ass, but in the end I'm proud of the result.

Good work!. I'd be afraid to paint parts on my car without removing them LOL.

yeah it is a bitch to remove the trim around the windows very true. I give you props for painting it on the car though. Like I said I wouldn't do it! lol.
But working on my engine and mechanical parts.... well that's a totally different story. I'll do that with my car any day.Last edited by MalibuMafiaV; 11-08-2011 at 06:31 PM.
