Kinetechnik's FREAK M3/5
So after 2 years of this project unfolding I was able to get some photos of a E46 M3 that thinks* its a M5...
Kinetechnik Motorsport has a full S85 swap that when a GT1 is plugged in the car comes up as a M5. Fully diagnosable with NO errors!
As far as I know this is the FIRST V10 swap with a full ECU wire harness that is GT1 friendly.
THIS CAR IS A FREAK, I am waiting till the Yas Marina GP to fly over and check it out in person.
Here are some photos, and HOPEFULLY I get these guys to send me over some video ASAP

Not these, they are doing the E30 M3 project car here in southern California location.
As far as cost there are two options, the car shown above is called a LM*
That is full cf bumper, CSL roof, GC custom suspension to compensate for the weight, CCW wheels, Brembo, and of course the swap and tuning.
I don't know if they will offer just the engine swap as it takes alot of labor and the car in stock trim wont be able to handle the S85 comfortably.
IF there is any crazy enthusiasts out there send me a PM and Ill put you in touch. Money like with all cars depends on how fast you want to go.

Props to them for getting that motor in there, but that is not a very clean install.

Its not %100 complete. Just getting the motor in, running and wired CORRECTLY is a feat of its own.
Cleaning up the work and adding the "cf wow" factor is easy in comparison.
The engineering that took place deserves its own write up, getting the ECU to link up with a GT1 is something no other company has been able to accomplish
