Default TAG Project Red Baron: E30 M3

The E30 M3! A dream for some of us, a reality for a few... We had the honor of building one of our favorite customer's E30 M3's last year. The car came to us as a 1988 BMW M3 with ONLY 28,000 original miles on the clock. Our customer purchased the car New in 1988 and has kept it in his possession for all 23 years of the vehicles life. Being that the owner has multiple cars, including 458, 599, Quattroporte GTS, E90 M3, H1 with Allison/Duramax Conversion among other things - We knew we had to build a car that would mesh nicely in his stable.

We began with a concept - a Daily Drivable Track E30 M3. We decided to keep the S14 Engine that came originally with the car as it had so few miles, but we hadto give it a bit more power. We opted for a 2.5L Stroker kit, with 11.1 Compression CP Pistons and Rods, Ported Head, Ported Throttle Bodies and MUCH more...

Here is a picture of the car as it came to us...

I love this body style, great work. Floor mats around the cage are so much nicer than just ditching the mats!

Great looking car... love the low miles and specifically the fact that you kept the s14. I absolutely love this motor.

After a brief stint of thinking of selling mine... I never plan on it now.

That thing is perfect. I was looking at picking one up not to long ago. It was also an 88 I believe.
