    One important thing these guys didnt mention...HAVE THE SUBFRAM CHECKED. The subframe on the e46 m3 is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE FOR A 60k! There is a class action law suit still going on with BMW for the abismal sub frames.
    Lawsuit has already been resolved. All e46 owners who have had their subframe mount repaired they can fill out paperwork and get reimbursed. If not BMW will give you a free inspection of the subframe mount and if cracked they will repair it free of charge.

    Remember the subframe is fine, its the mount that is the problem.

    awsome thanks..so if i get one that the mount is broke can i take it to any bmw and have them fix it..of corse ill make shure all service is done. but there is always that what if

    I no longer have either of my e46 m3's so Im not involved in the situation. Either way, its pathetic that 60K car would have such this kind of issue. Glad BMW is finally obligated to fix this problem.
