Selling my e65 ALPINA B7
Hey folks-
I posted on a couple of the enthusiast sites, and before actually listing the car, I figured I'd let the L4P folks know too: I'm planning on selling my lovely B7 soon. I'm coming up on 80k miles, and getting the itch for something newer. It is black on black and has every option offered in 07, including the extra airbags, night vision, active cruise control, rear entertainment, etc. Still under 100k/6yr warranty until Feb 20th of 2013, has been dealer-serviced since birth, garaged and loved and all that good stuff, and has an extensive documented history of service. Even more, my SA said he would be happy to talk about the car with any prospective buyers to discuss it and answer any questions, as they have put around 30k of work into this car in the past year to keep it perfect. I've had nearly every component checked and rechecked regularly, and had the supercharger replaced by Alpina a month ago (also comes with separate warranty and documentation) - which is a concern for buyers of other B7s - but not this one! I'm planning on listing it in the low $40s, as I'm considering getting a new car within a month or so. Yes, I know you can buy B7 in the low-mid 30s - but you truly get what you pay for with these cars, and I'd be very weary of any listed in that range. This is not a worn and ragged B7, and if you are looking for a 'cheap' B7, I'd suggest otherwise, unless you are simply willing to spend about 10-15k in the next 2 years for service. I Haven't listed the car yet, figured I'd make a quick post amongst enthusiasts before going "public." PM me for any more details. I'm not in a rush, and this is my 3rd vehicle and my preference as a DD.
Oh, and I've recently gone through a separation, so for those curious, I'll likely move on to a sexy coupe that I DO NOT have to justify to anyone but myself (Continental GT, Maserati GT, or a DB9)! I'm sure many of you understand that, unfortunately.
Thanks!
UPDATE: Listed at 41k - ALPINA B7 for SALE
UPDATE: FINAL PRICE DROP to 35,500!

Thanks folks, it really has been a pleasure to own and drive. If it were just about the money, I'd probably never sell it - EVER! But it is just part of the "reset" in life at the moment.
