    Default M750i and 728i Rumors

    BMW M750i, 728i Rumored for March 2013 Launch | AutoGuide.com News
    I mean I am 110% supporting the M version of a 7'er, but a 728i? With a 4 cylinder engine? No thanks

Why is it an M750i instead of an M7?

Wouldn't an m750 simply be an 750 with the M package?

The 728i would probably be for europe. Given that Mercedes as a CLS3xx in europe.

Just make the M7 and keep it simple, and wouldn't a 4 banger in a car as large as a 7 series be on the lift more than on the road?

the M-department said, that they would never make an M7 ... so, they're standing by their statement, and instead, they are making an M line 7 series, much like the M550xd

But wouldn't it be sweet to have a monsterous 7 series with a V10 or a juiced up V12 with an ungodly amount of power ripping the asphalt...
Hhmmmmm... maybe somebody will start a build...

*sigh* M just doesn't mean what it used to. It's bad enough that all the posers with standard 3 and 5 series' put M badges on their car, but now BMW is arbitrarily putting them on cars as well? Shame.

    They have a V12 with "twin-scroll" turbo. "
6.0 -liter, 48 valve, TwinPower Turbo V-12 engine"
That being said, it also starts at 140K, whereas the model below it (twin scroll v8 - 750li) starts at 90K..

Amini9, I'm talking well over 535bhp. It's twin turbo'ed the M Division could just crank up the boost and go up against anything. Or somebody could build it(hint, hint, somebody, anybody). I don't think the price would be an issue there are B7 buyers and supercar buyers, who wouldn't want a supercar that can really carry five adults some groceries, some golf bags, luggage, couple of dead bodies, etc...

I think the reason they don't really work on an "M"7 (at least the long-wheel base version) is simply because its such a huge car.. It's almost a shame to make it sporty rather than luxury, in my opinion at least. A power monster would be amazing to see around though.
