    Default E39 M5 input please

Hey guys - some of you know I've been looking at E55's to replace my e90 335i, but I've also been considering E39 M5's and some other options.

This is a clean example I found only about 20 minutes away from me that seems clean, but the mileage scares me a little (I work with a guy who restores BMW's and says not to worry), so I'm curious to get some more experienced opinions on the car than my own.

    F.S. 2001 BMW M5

    Thanks!

Wow shit man, prices of cars in the USA and Europe are BULLSHIT CHEAP.

Very similar E39 M5's here in Australia sell for $40-50k :S

Go for it. You may to need replace a few things, but once you do it should run very well for awhile. Also this guy seems like he maintained it pretty well so I wouldn't be too scared of the high mileage.

I love both cars, but there is nothing boring about an E55. Especially when you are raping E39 M5's.

I've driven all the variants of the M5 from E28 through to F10, and the E39 is still my favourite, as long it's been well cared for it should be fine, there is an E39 M5 running round Germany with 450,000 on the clock...
