    Default X5M Thunderhill Trackday pics

Hi everyone, wanna share some pics and experience tracking the X5M.
2010 X5M with VF engineering Hex Flash tune, K&N filter, Motul RBF600 brake fluid,
Type 215 21" wheels with oem Dunlop sportmaxx dsst rft. stock exhaust and suspension. removed spacers and 110 octane fuel.
Car was prepared by Sonic MS in Mountain View and event organized by NCRC.
The X5M performed very well, cooling system was doing a fantastic job keeping oil temps slightly above 210F.
I pushed it to the limit at the cost of wearing down my tires from the weight of the truck.
Other than the weight and having to brake early, it was a beast on the track keeping up with M3s.
Brakes did not fade at all even after 4-5 hotlaps. did 5 20min runs.
    Love this beast.

Thank you! It was about 90F at the track and i did not get a covered spot so with the ac off it, the oil temp was stable for the day which is pretty amazing haha

Yeah seriously. That is a good temp to stay stable under thoughs type of driving conditions. I don't know much about the X5 M ho they set it up. But with it staying that stable I assume they have a small oil cooler some where.
