He seems to be having fun! The plane has been flying from New York to Florida on a semi regular basis. A guess at variable operating cost (fuel) would be about $5,000 per hour. With delays and weather it's ranges about 2 to 2.5 hours per leg.

I want to say its closer to $6,000 per hour on that particular aircraft.

Private jet ownership is the best way to go and if you can afford the aircraft, hanger space, insurance, and maintenance and that doesn't include the fuel and manpower (Pilot and flight crew) then hey go for it.

For private charter flights, I feel its much more cost prudent to simply charter a private jet for your occasional travels if you're not pressed for spontaneous trips or such frequent trips as the Donald does.

I think The Donald can honestly justify the high costs of his jet for the sake of privacy, security, and time saved which is afforded to the Jet Set club.

saw it parked here at the local airport last week. I guess Ivanka used it for an Aspen ski trip.
