    Default No longer earthbound

Yesterday has been a long long time in coming. I finally have a flying machine that is no longer earthbound. As of now I have two overhauled cylinders and a fresh annual inspection completed. The first two rounds of ground run-ups indicate all is well with the engine and once I am ready to take flight again.

I hope I remember how this is supposed to work; physics makes an airplane fly in theory but in reality it's paperwork; pulling back things get smaller- pushing forward things get bigger; airspeed, altitude and fuel in the tanks are your friends.

What other fundimentals am I missing? Oh, "Hi, I'm from the FAA and I'm here to help you." Don't run, stand your ground and be quiet.

    Aviation Commandments:

    1. Though shallt not smite the earth.

    2. Though shalt not run out of fuel.

    that is all
