Default Anyone use the Lightspeed Original Zulu headset?

I'm looking at getting one for helicopter flying. They seem to have the same features as the Bose but at a cheaper cost.

The only plus that bose has is its a little lighter... not worth it in my mind. I like em but i dont 1000 dollar like em. Zulus are the same way they are nice but a good set of david clarks with gel ear cups works just fine for me and with in a few db's.
The ones im looking at getting are the Clarity Aloft in ear headsets.

You're the only person I've heard say that. Why is it so much better?

ive also had the clarity aloft headset. sent it back also cause it wouldnt stay in place on my head. at the time i was flight instructing which involves a LOT of head movement (those private students keep you busy!) i thought the quality was nice but the mike was constantly moving around. Im still using my $300 david clark i bought 6 years ago every day in the jet. not the most comforatable but the best value for the money IMO

We've got two pairs of Zulu Lightspeed headsets in our '78 Grumman Tiger. Sound quality is superb, and the noise canceling is wonderful. The headsets have bluetooth connectivity and a 3.5mm audio-in, so you can hook phones and iPods to them. Nothing quite like listening to Frank Sinatra's "Come Fly With Me" while cruising at 9,500 feet.

Bose is like the luxury car of the audio world. They're good, but part of the price is for the logo printed on the side.
