Thanks for posting…definitely a light fuel load and no cargo. If "FRED" isn't leaking hydraulic fluid, the system must be empty.

Pretty sweet. The other day I found a video of a C17 with an unrestricted take off. It was awesome Ill have to try and find it again when I get home.

Although I'm not a C-17 fanboy, their ability to stop on a dime along with their thrust reversing (without over temping the engines) is impressive. The backfire is usually just a compressor surge.
