Took my first passenger for a ride....
Just got my pilots license last month at the age of 17 so i was pretty excited. Since the weather in michigan has sucked, when i was down in florida i decided to rent a 172 and take my grandpa for a ride. Here is the video, enjoy!

Congratulations on getting the Private certificate. And taking your first passenger with you is a very exciting event. IIRC, my first passenger was my best friend. A brave soal to be sure. It must be told that my path to getting my Private was very different than most everyone else.
I will never forget what my examiner told me right after telling me I had passed the practical exam. "How you will really learn how to fly, every time you get in an airplane- learn well and remember what you learn."

Congrats on getting your ticket! I got mine at 17 as well. Then college and life caught up and I didn't get back in the seat for ten years. The best advice I can give you is to stay current no matter what if at all possible. When I started back, it was pretty much like starting completely over. Well worth it though.
