    Landing on a carrier was 'splained to me once like this.

    Clear the furniture our of your living room
    Put a postage stamp in the middle of the floor
    Run down the hallway, leap into the air when you reach the living room, and try to lick the stamp.

    Night carrier landing ....same as above, only turn off all the lights :-)

    I got my first trap 29 Jan 1993 USS America. It's the CAT shot thats incredible.
