    That thing is sketchy. It is waaaaay under powered and over weight. You couldn't pay me enough to fly it.

    Flying car = crappy airplane + crappy car.

    You could make an amphibious motorcycle too. But once again it would be a crappy jet ski and a crappy motorcycle.

    Since we are in the aviation section, one last example. The Harrier. As much as it is loved my civilians, it is a heavily compromised fighter/ground support aircraft. Its essentially a neat "trick" to solve a problem that never materialized.

    anyone else notice the article say it gets 30MPG highway? my 4 cylinder barely gets 30. I cant imagine that thing with its weight getting anything reasonable in terms of fuel consumption.
